The twelfth annual Viva la Viola! Day
An exciting day of viola events for all ages
Saturday, April 14th, 2012
8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Guest Teacher/Clinician – Victoria Chiang
Viola Faculty, Peabody Conservatory of Music
Activities will include
- Viola ensembles coached by outstanding viola coaches and college student mentors
- Adults only ensemble
- Final concert with performances by all ensembles
- Attend college student masterclass
- Participants and RMVS members – FREE, all others - $10
- Lunch and a commemorative Viva t-shirt included!
This event is open to violists of all levels from communities in Colorado and Wyoming.
Online registration begins on 1/20/11.
Student registration "earlybird" due date is 2/3/11.
"Earlybird" participation fee is $50 per participant.
Remaining registrations must be made by 2/17/11.
"Non-earlybird" participation fee is $55 per participant.
Public school orchestra directors are invited to observe all sessions free of charge!
Dates to remember
- Registration Deadline - Students and Adults must register by February 17th. Due to the nature of the event, there are no refunds for cancellations.
- Public School Orchestra Directors are also invited to observe free of charge. Please register as an Observer by April 1st, 2012.
- Everyone else can attend the College Masterclass and student concert at the end of the day. Please register as an Observer by April 1st, 2012. There is a small fee to attend the college masterclass if you are not an RMVS/AVS member.
