The tenth annual Viva la Viola! Day
An exciting day of viola events for all ages
Saturday, April 17th, 20108:30 am to 5:30 pm
Guest Teacher/Clinician – Karen Ritscher
Associate Professor of Viola, Oberlin Conservatory
Activities will include
- Viola ensembles coached by outstanding viola coaches and college student mentors
- Adults only ensemble
- Final concert with performances by all ensembles
- Attend college student masterclass
- Participants and RMVS members – FREE, all others - $10
- Masterclasses for all levels
- Lunch and a commemorative Viva t-shirt included!
This event is open to violists of all levels from communities in Colorado and Wyoming.
The student participation fee is $50 per participant
Public school directors are invited to observe all sessions free of charge!
Dates to remember
- Registration Deadline - The participation forms for Students and Adults must be postmarked by February 15th. Due to the nature of the event, there are no refunds for cancellations.
- Public School Orchestra Directors are also invited to observe free of charge. Please download the non-playing participant registration form and return it by April 1st, 2010.
- Everyone else can attend the College Masterclass and student concert at the end of the day. Please download the non-playing participant registration form and return it by April 1st, 2010. There is a small fee to attend the college masterclass.
