Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Viola Society web site!
We invite you to stay and browse for a while. You will be able to find a variety of information including events*, competitions, workshops and conferences. Our Viva la Viola Day, held every April in Ft. Collins, is a wonderful opportunity for violists to get together for a day of ensembles, a master class by a guest teacher, and a final concert. We welcome all ages and ability levels.
*Viva la Viola Day will not be held in April, 2013. Stay tuned!
Please feel free to contact any of the board members with questions you may have about the Rocky Mountain Viola Society. Our activities are a direct result of the generosity and hard work of the RMVS Board, RMVS members and parent volunteers. Our funding comes from member dues, event fees, donations and grants. We grow as our membership grows. If you are not a member and are a string teacher, orchestra director, student or avid supporter of music, please consider this an open invitation to join us.
Best wishes for a year filled with great viola playing!
The board of the Rocky Mountain Viola Society.
